Demonstration against police violence
On Friday 5th September a few hundred people came together in Place d’Armes in a demonstration to demand better living conditions and an end to police violence.

One person from Sudan with a broken leg and walking on crutches says “its police who attacked me, its like this always on trains, in the street or at the border”. Several more people in the demonstration had bruised or broken arms or legs from being attacked and assaulted by police.
