Today, Thursday 31 October, the police came to the Sudanese camp.
They arrested 15 people. People from the city took the tents, the blankets and the sleeping bags to the garbage dump. The camp is now a disaster.
The police and the employees of the town said they came to clean.
But they just took the personal belongings and littered the camp.
We took all the stuff to take it back to the Sudanese guys.
The police threatened to put the Sudanese in jail for three months if
they return. It’s an endless game. They take, we take it back.
They come back and we take back the stuff again.
It’s been going on now for two years and the Sudanese are still there.
Destroying their camp will change nothing.
