8 in court this week for Brighton solidarity action

Eight activists are in court from Monday 2nd November for a blockade of EDO MBM/ITT in solidarity with migrants during the Calais No Borders camp this summer.

The blockade was to highlight the links between the arms trade, war and the creation of refugees. They are in Brighton Magistrates Court from Monday 2nd November.

- 65 activists from France and UK hold cross-channel protest in Calais and Folkstone; ending at the 'Joint Intelligence Unit'.. 1 week ago
- Every night police chase migrants around parcs. The other night, police were seen holding people on the ground for arrest. 2 weeks ago
- 20 Afghans detained in Coquelles transferred to Paris yesterday. The Subprefect told Salam member they are looking to send a charter flight. 2 weeks ago
- Most moved out before police arrived at 7 am, saw 9 people arrested. Around 20 association members and activists were there. Camp bulldozed 2 weeks ago
